Workshops

The Youth Future Workshops…

are the heart of the conference. The workshops will focus on different challenges, approaches and topics out of the wide field of sustainability. When you apply for the conference, you choose one of these workshops. You will be part of this group during the first four days of the conference. Here you will also meet the laureates of the Right Livelihood Award and the German Environmental Award on same-eye-level. On each day the workshop groups will analyze the workshop´s main topic from a different point of view. You, together with around 15 other participants, will get to know the central question from four different points of view. Together you will go trough the different dimensions of sustainability – the economical, the environmental, the societal, and the cultural Dimension. In some workshops each dimension or discipline will be presented by a different expert, lecturer or activist coming from that field. This interdisciplinary and multidimensional workshop method is an attempt to get a more holistic and deeper understanding of the big challenges of our time. That is, because we think it is necessary to be able to switch between points of view before you can find innovative solutions for big challenges.
