Wir – eine Gruppe Leipziger Menschen, die bei KonsumGlobalLeipzig, bei Transition Town Leipzig und in anderen Projekten aktiv sind – planen einen Rundgang durch den Leipziger Westen, der positive Beispiele für nachhaltigen Konsum und lebenswerte, enkeltaugliche Lebensstile aufzeigt. Wir wollen das Bewusstsein für die gesellschaftlichen und ökologischen Auswirkungen des Konsumierens schaffen und zeigen, dass es nicht nur sinnvoll, sondern auch leicht ist, sich für Wirtschaftsweisen zu entscheiden, in denen Mensch und Umwelt respektiert werden.
Wir wollen anhand von jungen Projekten die Möglichkeiten für demokratische Selbstorganisation, Commoning und eine bedarfsgerechte Ausrichtung des Konsums aufzeigen und zum Eigenengagement motivieren. Wir wollen auf der Ebene der Konsument*innen Alternativen zu einem Wirtschaftssystem zeigen, das nicht dem Selbstzweck der Profitmaximierung dient, sondern dem Menschen. Unter den Oberthemen Ernährung, alternativer Konsum, Mobilität und Bildung wollen wir Interessent*innen anhand von konkreten Projekten zeigen, welche Alternativen es gibt, Hemmnisse abbauen, diese zu nutzen und einen Anstoß zum Handeln geben. Zusammen mit dem Projekt „About Change“ von der BUND Jugend werden wir auch Probleme des Klimawandels ansprechen.
We – a group of people living in Leipzig – plan a walk through the west of Leipzig to show positive examples for sustainable consumption and ways of living. We want to develop consciousness for the social and ecological consequences of consumption and show, hat it is not only urgent, but also possible to choose economic institutions in which (wo)man and nature are respected. The decision is more easy if you realise, that it’s not a question of money or comfort, but the necessity to question one’s paradigms and beliefs about human behaviour. We facilitate the contact to young projects that show the possiblities of democratic self organisation, commoning and sufficient living and want to motivate our visitors to start their own projects. In explaning the alternatives to our global economic system, it becomes visible, that there are many other ways of living, where harmony between humans and nature instead of profit maximising is a central aim.
The topics of the stations will be Nourriture, Consumption, Mobility and Education. In each station we will interview people, who startet a CSA, host a repair cafe or work in a selforganised kitchen and refer to their ways of organisation and technology using. Together with „About Change“ a project organised by BUND Jugend, we will also communicate problems of climate change.
