Wir bemühen uns unsere Konferenz von vornherein so Co2-sparend und umweltbewusst wie möglich zu gestalten. Dazu zählt für uns:
- 100% vegetarische, sowie weitgehend regionale, biologische und fair gehandelte Verköstigung.
- Anreise mit der Bahn und ÖPNV wird gefördert
(im DB-Fernverkehr 100% Ökostrom). - Interkontinentalflüge von Teilnehmern werden nicht gefördert.
- Unser Internet-Server läuft mit Ökostrom.
- Büro- und Konferenzmaterial bestellen wir bei memo.
- Wir engagieren uns bei der Klimaschutz+ Stiftung.
- Und werben Fördergelder über den Ökostrom+ Tarif der EWS Schönau.
We have a high consciousness for our environment and try hard to save carbon so far as we can. All in all we try to make our conference an event, which has a small ecological footprint. And this is what we do:
- 100% vegetarian as well as mostly regional, seasonal, organic and fair traded food.
- We encourage our participants to travel by train or bus (in Germany the highspeed trains run with 100% renewable energy).
- We don’t support intercontinental flights of participants.
- Our web servers run with 100% renewable energy.
- We buy the office- and conferencing material at memo, a german office-shop, that sells recyclabe and sustainable products.
- We are committed to the Klimaschutz+ Stiftung (Climate Save+ Foundation)
- and we raise funds through a cooperation with germans best renewable power provider EWS.
